Compact and German.

Nice looking piece. Did you just pick that up?
Looks like they’re not legal in Canada. Oh well, not like I plan on owning firearms anyway.

I’ve had it since Christmas 2012, it was my graduation present to myself. I had wanted one for a long time, so it’s what I spent the $1000 my grandparents gave me on it.

I was hoping for Sig, but not disappointed. I do need to try out some H&K’s, and the VP9SK seems to call towards me, I blame John Wick.

I picked up one of these at a gun show when I was like 14 and it just fit my hand so perfectly, I had to have one some day. They’re a little expensive, but are also really high quality. It was so much smoother than the Springfield I shot last time I went shooting.

I’d like to think Miss Mercedes has a single-shot .22 derringer.

I mean, that would make sense, if we go by cars.

Sigs are great, would recommend.

l’ve only shot a couple old CZs. Wasn’t the biggest fan.

Maybe 22 magnum.

I actually haven’t shot any, but there’s a CZ clone made in Turkey that’s super cheap that I’ve had my eye on.

Fully agree!
Have - HK P30SK & Walther PPS M2
Had - e90 335, but now an X3 because I’m too big & old

Does the gun have check engine light that’s on a lot too?

$1000 on a USP in 2012? Yeesh. I used to buy these for $600 at gun shows back when I was in college (pre 2009). Had a few 9s, a .40 and a full size .45 tactical. The tactical model was around $800 but it had the threaded barrel, adjustable sights... I rocks a P2000sk for a while as well. I think the most I spent on an HK was $900, and that was on a P30 the first month they were out. That was a sweet shooting pistol. Now I have a handful of $400 Glocks. Being able to buy cheap mags was a huge plus in switching to glocks. They definitely don’t feel as nice in the hand, but after putting thousands upon thousands of rounds through them you stop noticing.
Fun fact: The Germans refered to the USP as the United States Pistol. It was originally designed to shoot .40 in order to win an FBI? contract.

I think it was like $830 or something before taxes. I’ve got the receipt somewhere.

I like my cars like I like my guns; American and heavy. Since I’ll run out after 7 rounds I might as well have something I can bludgeon people with. (also the kick is a bit lower...)
Above: my dream car that randomly stopped by my shop a year ago.

A buddy of mine loves CZ’s. He thinks some of them have the best grips out there.

*jumps up and down frantically*
Wooooo! CZs! (I own a pair - a full-frame 75 and a P-07 for carry.)
Most of Turkish and Italian knockoffs are still solid buys. Wouldn’t fault you one bit for going that route.

I’m can get behind that. My concealed carry weapon is a Walther PPS in 9.

Quality isn’t what it used to be, so if you get a chance to shoot an old Action Arms (or a rare Bauska) import CZ75, do so. The trigger pull is smooth as glass and the break is crisp as any non-custom pistol can be. At least mine is.

I like mine small, American and powerful... (but built in Europe?)

Oh, I know. Bought a P229 Legion 9mm. FANTASTIC gun.

If you haven’t picked one up yet, look for a police turn in, P226's are usually 9mm, and the P229's are usually .40, unless you get a Secret Service or Air Marshall gun, then they are .357Sig.
If you have the cash, look at the Legion series, I’ve got the P229 Legion and it blows a regular P229 out of the water. I won’t lie, they are pricey, but damn they are a nice gun. My gun pics go on instagram (unpredictable_swerve) and there are a ton of there a few months ago. Now it’s a few other things, but hey, they are there.

If I’m going to get anything, it’ll be another Glock. I’ve got a gen 2 G19 that I quite like.

That is funny, I like my guns like I like my cars too.
Full Size and loud

When I was a frac engineer, I was in charge of ordering chemicals. One of the chemicals we needed was fiber. There were two choices, German or American. I signed off one email “ I like my cars like I like my fiber, German.”

Hmm.... sounds like I need to buy an Australian gun.... I have American, Russian, Japanese, and Italian guns, but American and British cars.

It would be hilarious if she daily carried a .357 magnum revolver.
